This is one of the primary outdoor shopping areas in downtown Cape Town. It runs toward trinkets and is a tad overwhelming due to the very close proximity of the many stalls. It gives a shopper a baseline of what is available and what prices...More

St George's Mall is a great place to enjoy some interesting street vendors, coffee shops, restaurants and much more. You are bound to pass through it when in town

from the railway station walk to the flower sellers - a great photo shoot. The Mall is pedestrianised...wander at will. at the far end is a memorial worth seeing - and across Wale Street is St. George's Cathedral

Nice mall, but be careful around this area, it is not the safest for tourist, these days, make sure you go in large groups.

An easy way to get from one side of the city to another as it is mainly a pedestrian mall with fine shops selling goods and services. St Georges Mall use to be a city street running parallel with Adderley street, but as big business...More

Lots of interesting shops either side of the mall, and plenty of stalls in the middle, offering all kinds of wares...some pretty and covetable, many rather tawdry and cheap...be careful with your bag...lots of pickpockets around.

What an excellent idea it was to pedestrianise this street as now the informal traders have a well demarcated area where they can sell their wares and shoppers can move around without cars whizzing past them. The mall starts very close to the St George's...More

We strolled the length of St George's Mall a few times. Each time the passage seemed busy and lively. There are numerous stores, restaurants and merchant stalls. Everybody takes a photo with the somewhat weird statue with multiple heads of Bart Simpson.

Pretty pedestrianised road through the centre of the city. Good range of shops and malls with local craft stalls long the way selling the usual tourist stuff.
