Overview
More
The Two Oceans Aquarium is a window into the spectacular oceans surrounding the southern African coast. Through displays ranging from the small and almost fantastical Knysna seahorses, to sea turtles and shoals of shimmering fish, the Aquarium holds wondrous discoveries around every corner. Come face-to-face with giant spider grabs and have an adventurous tactile experience at the Touch Pool. Be sure to visit the I&J Ocean Exhibit, with its 9m long window, and 10m long full tunnel. Qualified divers can also make use of the opportunity to dive in this exhibit with shoals of fish and turtles. The Jelly gallery is sure to mesmerize and enthral.

Beautiful and scenic aquarium! Family friendly and easy to get around. The place had two massive tanks for larger marine life. Although the oceanic predator tank was sparse with a few sharks looked really well displayed. Each tank had underwater tunnels to view the marine...More

Penguins!!! Not a huge aquarium, but this visit was a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the rest of our tour. The penguins are fantastic (albeit a tad smelly). It is worth planning your visit around a penguin feeding time. We were also...More

It had everything that you would expect to see in an Aquarium. If it is raining and you need a place to go especially with kids this is the place. Otherwise, save your money. If you plan on going to Boulders Beach or Cape of...More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of the Two Oceans Aquarium. Did you know that very many of the animals that we house at the Aquarium are endemic to our coastline, which means that they are only found around our coastline?...More

We love aquariums (aquaria?) so it was a must. It was a good experience especially for the aforementioned jellyfish and also the African Penguin exhibit.

Thank you for your review of the Two Oceans Aquarium. Good news! The Predator Exhibit is open and we now have 9 large ragged-tooth sharks in this display.

I absolutely loved visiting this aquarium! The design is fantastic and each room provides a new and unique experience. I particularly enjoyed the interactive areas where you are able to get close to and even touch certain specimens. Hours of fun for the whole family!

A good educational exhibition especially for the young. Lovely displays but hopelessly dark inscriptions for us oldies. The lite screens were informative and the bigger fish were well displayed over our heads. Some very good messages for the young concerning conservation, the appalling plastic “soups”...More

Thank you for your review. Some background - the large exhibit that you mentioned, just opened at the end of last month. It takes some time for these types of exhibits to settle. The exhibit is now looking beautiful and the algae bloom is no...More
