Beautiful shoreline drive easterly from downtown Cape Town. Scenic views and spectacular sunsets from here.

The city of Cape Town could do more to improve the Beachfront of this charming Village to make it more of a Tourist Attraction. It is fragmented & uncohesive.

Hout Bay is lovely Insofar as it is the beautiful sleepy village far (enough) from Cape Town. It's close enough to Cape Town for you to live there, while dealing with the hustle-and-bustle of the Cape Town CBD, but enjoying the relaxed nonchalant atmosphere of...More

I was speechless. The weather was amazing when we arrived, cool and sunny. After having lunch at the Mariners Wharf we had ice cream at a nearby ice-cream parlour.

Drive to Hout Bay was beautiful. Drove along beach front passed Dunes Resturant this places buzzers all the time. Went into the harbour which was full of activity. Stopped at Fish on the Rocks for some good old fashion fish and chips

Hi. Hout's Bay is some kind of village by the sea. You will definitely then need a car to go to the waterfront and back.
