The Green Market square has most if not all of the tourist items found in stores in Cape Town. The prices for the most part are cheaper and the sellers willing to negotiate.

exchange your dollars for rand at ATM or exchange shops. You can usually purchase items of half of the asking price. Keep your hang bag, wallet close to you as pick pockets will have an eye on you.
