I think hat we were just unlucky as staff showed us into wrong cinema.. but all is well that ends well.and we enjoyed a very good film... the venue will be great when terrace is finished but go early as parking is a problem.

Just saw 'Julieta' at the Libia and loved the venue! Besides the six options of popcorn-flavors that you can add yourself, the food and drink selection is great, restrooms are clean and the theater chairs are super cute with famous movie quotes on them. Such a fun place!

This classic theatre really captures the "old" theatre vibe and feels very homely. Was a great outing for my husband and my dad and I!

The Labia is legendary! Old school movie theater with great options to eat and drink when you are watching some non main stream movies.

Last night my mother and myself had a girls night out, and we decided to go to The Labia. Its a must! Its the only cinema that I know of where you can order more than just popcorn, you can order wine, gin and coffee, with quiches, phyllo pastries and more, and then go in and watch your movie whilst... Do not expect high tech 3D movie experience, that is possible at most cinemas. This however is an unique experience, stepping into a bygone area. Movies are generally art movies. Fancy a beer with your popcorn or a coffee and brownie?

The independent movie theatre is a Cape Town must see/ experience. What a fabulous experience to view a movie here. Also look out for the art festivals and once off launches at this cinema. The toilets have been refurbished, the car guard out if front was friendly and the whole experience was enjoyable. Ideal for those who love authentic cinema.

Take some time to spoil yourself and watch a movie in a historical little theatre. There are velvet seats and a cute little box office. Buy ur popcorn and a glass of wine and relax and enjoy. The theatre shows some lovely old shows and up to date films. Its a landmark place in cape town. All shows R45
