I thought a few hours delay might be OK, who cares if we arrive at 3PM not 11.45?
Not quite so simple.

After 1 hour the train stopped. Seems one of the two locos...More
We arrived at Cape Town Premier lounge on time and along with the other passengers embarked upon the Premier class train to Johannesburg.

On arrival at Johannesburg station request one of the train staff to take you to the Premier Class Lounge in the station concourse, From there it is a short walk across the street to the Gautrain station for a link to the airport. JNB is a busy station, so be alert and make sure you do not display valuable items , jewelry. We had no problems on arrival and our short walk to the parking area outside the station. Enjoy the trip.
