Great public beach

Beautiful beach with pleanty of space. Cold water though and if it is windy you would be better off att neighbouring Clifton.

This was the perfect place to stop and read a book after a long morning of sightseeing. Parking was no simple task, but a few rand to the attendant was enough to park indefinitely in a prime location. We were repeatedly approached by beverage merchants and poster salesmen, but declining their offers only interrupted our reading a few times. Unreal... More

The beach is a good place to hang out. Mainly because it has loads of restraunts around. Lots of tourists around. Great for photography. Seems very popular.

Lovely beach. White sand. Nice people. Very little parking unless you pay R50 per day at the open field. Very cold water. Not for swimming

Superb beach to spend the day, beautifully clean, sun beds and umbrellas available to hire if required. Lots of places to eat and drink right across from the beach.

Stunning beach, too cold for swimming, amazing colours and views over the Apostles and lots or restaurants just across the road.

Amazing beach. Love the view, the water, the variety of people, the food, everything about it. Not far from Cape Town proper. Easy to get to just about anywhere.
