We visited Camps Bay Beach one evening to watch the African sunset. The beach was busy with families and lots of people doing the same thing we were. The water was freezing but was not the reason for our visit anyway. We found a quiet spot and watched the sun sink. It was so photogenic with the rocks protruding from... More

This beach is world renown and is located in a prime sort after area in Cape Town. The street alongside the beach has a cosmopolitan vibe and the facilities are clean and well maintained.

Great views but icy waters. Nice to sun-bathe but too cold to swim. Great chill- out places and eateries along the beach.

We spend some great days at camps bay. The beach is small but cozy, on the one side you see the ocean than you turn around and see mountain. A view you dont get everywhere. At the promenade you can find a lot of good restaurants and bars

A lovely stay at Camps Bay, made all the more so by being able to walk daily on one of the worlds most beautiful beaches. Lovely, soft white sand. There are deck chairs and umbrellas available. The scenery is amazing, with the Atlantic Ocean in front of you, and the 12 Apostle Mountain range behind you.

The seaside road is bordered by cafes, restaurants, shops and hotels and the residential area in the backstreets is a magnet for the well to do. The beach... More

We were delighted to find we could rent padded cots for the day. As with everything bicker down the price from original quote. Be prepared for an onslaught of beach vendors coming your way. Of course we bought treasures! Shops are directly across beach so it was fun to find a place for drinks and lunch

A beautiful beach where high end folks live. The dining outlets are spectacular and there is a great vibe.
