Just up Kloof Nek Road from the center of town is this thriving beach community. Plenty of trendy nightclubs, shops and cafes bring diners and shoppers, while tranquil seas and fine white sand draw sun worshippers and swimmers.

The beach is quite clean and has great views of the 12 Apostles. The main challenge is the freezing water!!

Although the water was FREEZING, you could still enjoy and get your feet wet. The views are breathtaking. This is a beautiful section of the beach. Great restaurants near by.

Super cool spot to hangout. Very kid friendly. Not that we had any plan to, but no alcohols allowed on the beach. Just get some sun screen, beach towels, books and you’re in for a super relaxing day! As every other beach in Cape Town,...More

Camps Bay has to be the most annoying beach to sit on ever! Overpriced sun beds and constant hassle from vendors! Definitely not a relaxing experience! Locals thought it was ok to lean against my sunbed in order to take advantage of the shade from...More

Crowded, expensive and just a little too much "posing"... beach is not nice and super windy. Restaurants are not really for food and more for watching and be seen.

I'll be honest, we were in Camps bay around Christmas and I know that that's the busiest time. But the beach was packed with people – and as the water was freezing, it wasn't easy to get away from them. After a couple of days at...More

Absolutely stunning. It was very busy yet organized, clean and safe. The sea water was extremely cold.

This is one of the nicest beaches I saw in South Africa in a commercialised area. There is good activity to be had and many photo points such as the two thrones. Many people chose to sunbathe under the palm trees but you need to...More

Sorry, I just now read your question. Can‘t really say about the restaurant, since it all depends on what you like. We ate a lot of fish in a couple of Restaurants there, which was really good. Unfortunably I don‘t remember... More

From the cruise terminal, you will be right in the V&A area. Basically, once you get onto Main Rd heading Southwest, you follow it through Seapoint, onto Victoria Rd and that will bright you right into Camp's Bay.
