We really enjoyed the valley of waves. The staff there are very friendly kind. The rides are well maintained and not a long queue. The walk upto the slides is VERY long and tiring but it's worth it. We were so impressed with the lifeguard who assisted a disabled man by carrying him up the long way to the slides... More

The Valley of the Waves is a great place to visit with family and friends but if you taking your kids ensure that they over the height of 1.3 meters to experience all the water slides. The addition of the Aqualoop is great. Try not to go to the Valley of Waves on a Public Holiday as the day visitors... More

Valley of Waves is always a winner for a day out. Entry is included if you stay at one of the hotels. There is a lot to do for children of all ages. If you are older and do not want to be surrounded by screaming children you can always chill next to the royal baths pool on a sun... More

Aside from the fact that it is very pricey for an average South African it is still a great destination to go and have a fun day with family. A few warnings though, get there early if you want to get some shade and a good spot and be prepared to spend some extra money on food and drinks since... More

Went for a day visit, the Roaring lagoon's water were so dirty and disgusting, we found a dead frog floating around and numerous pieces of fake hair and sweets wrappers. While we went on the Lazy River, someone helped themselves to our children's candy floss that were lying underneath a towel in their tubs. On the Lazy River me and... More

Great place for kids and adults like. Beach area is clean and well maintained. Lifeguards can be a little unhelpful on the rides, especially the temple of courage slide. Lots of fun in the sun and a great place for the family.

Valley of the waves is exceptionally well run. The life guards are very vigilant and join in with the fun making it a great beach atmosphere. No rip currents or anything to worry about with the kids. The toilets are exceptionally clean and detail around the smaller things is good.
