I visited Kwena Gardens during a recent stay in Sun City as it was billed as a crocodile sanctuary. It is not. Surprised by the number of baby crocodiles, I asked what happened to them all and was told that when they reach 1.7m in length, they are slaughtered for meat and clothing. Had I known this, I would not... More

You learn a lot about crocodiles. The staff have a lot off knowledge and is very friendly. It is scary but very interesting. Remember they still stay wild animals and treat them with respect.

Great afternoon experience. It's best to go down about 3.30/4 gives you time to walk round yourself before feeding time. Love every second!! Lots of animals and loads of information to take on and questions encouraged

Based at Kwena Gardens the Crocodile Farm offers an interesting couple of hours entertainment if you are there at feeding time. The feeding time is at 4:30pm so if you go before this be warned that the crocs are just lying there without much movement so it can be a little boring especially if you have children with you. Go... If you have seen a crocodile farm before, this one is not worth visiting. The first impressions, even before you get to the entrance is that this place have seen better days.

We stayed in Sun City January 2016, a married couple aged 45. Kwena Crocodile Farm is definitely worth a visit. We heard that feeding time is at 4.30pm, we went much earlier in the day so missed the feeding. I can't comment on how crowded the farm would be in the afternoon, but when we went the place was deserted... More

Worth a visit if you at Sun City. There are few different areas with crocs of various sizes. You are taken on a guided tour of the place. There are some rather large crocs as well. Guides are knowledgeable and also feed the crocs on the tour. Once done they let you hold little baby crocs and they were also... More
