My wife and I visited yesterday this beautiful museum along with our three year old. The new owner has a great appreciation of looking after heritage. We couldn’t believe the collection and the way they are looking after it. The guide was also a really nice guy and you felt welcome in this beautiful house of the President of the Zuid Afrikaansche Republiek. We enjoyed milkshakes afterwards at the lodge. Thank you again. Kind regards, The Rademeyers

Beautifully maintained piece of our South African Heritage, to complete a visit to this "farm house" a visit to Kedar lodge is a must they really have an extensive collection of Anglo Boer War items on display and the lodge and staff are very willing to let you live the experience of times gone by.

We chanced upon the museum and the entire property by accident and it turned out to be a great experience. The staff are professional and friendly and the entire property offers unique glimpses into South African history. It is well worth a visit and we can only recommend it. There are also a number of restaurants on site if you want to have a bite to eat. The museum guided tour coats R70 p/p.

One of the best preserved building around the Rustenburg area, now a museum and a new section being renovated to house more of the history of the area especially the Black participation in the Anglo Boer War, the concentration camps, and women and children .

Very interesting and educational tour. Pitty that we were not able to see all the buildings as some were being renovated, however, it was a good experience and learnt a lot.

We were pleasantly surprised with this attraction. The hotel has a beautiful museum with lots to see. The restaurant was really impressive. Loved the photographs and the restored rifles that were displayed like a guard of honor along the wall. The tour to the residence of Pres.Paul Kruger was excellent. Very friendly guide that shared lots of information. This was well worth the visit! Trust that the restoration of the school etc will soon be open to the public.
