We had to have an option due to have been dissapointed by our initial host, however Shaun of Mankele have us something better and a good value for the price, a clean cabin, beautiful view and is so much closer to Sundwala Cave. Am coming there soon with my clients...Thanks

We arrive with great expectations, the manager met us at the gate and informed us that the trails are no longer maintained.
So sad. We cycled all around the region for a couple of days.
All the contour roads and forest roads were great, but any of the Mankele trails are completely un-rideable. Nothing to do with the rain as the manager had said, just simply zero maintenance and horribly overgrown.
The originally marked routes are evident and must have been amazing in their day, but the focus appears to have changed ( maybe management changed ) to more day visitors by the pool and the coffee shop.
The name needs to change. MTB Park is no longer an accurate description.

There is so much to do here: biking, zip lining, water rafting. This is ideal for families or couples. Lots of outdoor space with many options.

This is, a great place to spend a day or a weekend getaway. Only about 25kms from Nelspruit. Great amenities for camping out with the kids.

Take your bicycles and have a great time on the bike trails. Absolutely safe for the kids, and if it gets too hot the pools are a welcome spot totske a dip and cool off.

The ablution blocks are clean and there's even hot water available. Much more I can tell you about, but you have go and see for yourself.

For the adventure lovers, this is a place you visit.

This was our second trip here, during Winter we had a chalet, now in December we camped. It was gorgeous. We paid a little under R500 per night for our camping spot. The ground was fairly flat, and covered with grass, they had shade spots built all over the place, so you could use it as part of your camp, or for your car. They have a fully equipped little kitchen with four stove plates, microwave, fridge, even a couple of toasters for use. The ablutions were neat, tidy, and cleaned multiple times a day. There are two pools, a trampoline, jungle gyms, climbing wall, and a basket ball hoop and that's over and above all the mountain bike tracks, which you can ride and walk. We also tried the river rafting, the water was a little low which made it a tad challenging at times, but it was still an incredible activity. They also have a wonderful little cafe that serves the most delicious 'slap chips' and illy coffee.

Even though it rained three out of the four nights we were there, it was a truly memorable experience for our whole family and we are looking forward to doing it again, and again, and again.

It was great camping here as the swimming pool and campsite is close to each other. The kids enjoyed themselves thoroughly. The ablutions and scullery was good but hot water was off on the morning of departure

That is the reaction I had when arriving at Mankele. It's all about mountain biking to the extreme! There is a lovely camp site with a mini waterfall for some fresh nature air. Many trails to choose from ranging between beginners to experts with beautiful nature views and tricky parts on the course. It is very affordable whether you decide to go for a quick ride or stay the weekend.
