Came here in summer and was impressed with the variety of plant life, even in the heat. It was a nice, scenic getaway from the hub-bub of the surrounding Nelspruit shopping area, and had lots of trees and benches to relax and stay cool in the shade. The entrance fee was quite reasonable, and it was a nice surprise to... More

This is a perfect destination for real people who love nature. The garden boasts lots of spectacular views of nature, i.e. plants, flowers and landscapes particularly when you take an adventurous down to the river. The bush is amazon-like and very interesting to be at. The environment is so tranquil that it give you peace of mind. If you happen... More

Thoroughly enjoyed visiting this place. Beautiful scenery and enjoyed learning about different species of plants and trees. It was easy and refreshing walkways. The play area within the gardens was a nice break for my 4 yr old. And the restaurant onsite was such a lovely stop to make.

The waterfalls and rivers are beautiful and when you pass over the river into the forest you can't believe you're in town. We saw the purple crested turaco that appears on the map you buy at Reception. It was lovely and quiet... More

Safety is always an issue there. The information desk is always helpful and I have never had a problem. The tea garden has hosted a couple of my client's and friends weddings and it was honestly a really good experience. In order to see the waterfall better, suggested time is during rainy months. Always pack water as you might get... More

This is a wonderful place to visit. Be sure to have a few hours. Stunning waterfalls you can see from below and above. A bridge across the river leads to a rainforest walk on a boardwalk. The other side presents areas of different types of plants like cycads and a traditional medicine garden. Lots of birds. The garden restaurant is... More
