Really loved shopping at the padstal - only wish there was ready made food. We purchased like crazy. Citrus fruit at crazy prices, lovely biltong and snacks. Plenty of different juices and icies

This is great pit stop on your way to/fro Nelspruit. The place is kept clean at all times. Friendly staff and great products. The citrus is best not only in Mpumalanga but in the country. The freshly squeezed juice is refreshing.

This shop has really great freshly squeezed juices at reasonable prices. My personal favourite is the orange juice. The store also has some delicious pies - had a really great oxtail pie!

If you're planning a trip through Schoemanskloof, the Joubert en Seuns Padstal is a must-visit farmstall, offering a wide range of products from fresh to dried and more. Their oranges and avocado pears are particularly noteworthy for me, bursting with flavor and freshness. I also loved their wide selection of nuts, perfect for a road-trip snack. They also sell various other items, such as unique gifts and take-away meals. After visiting, it's easy to see why they're so popular. I highly recommend stopping by to stretch your legs, enjoy the atmosphere, and do some shopping.

Let the record state that this rating is only concerning COVID regulations.

As you enter the store, there’s this cute board in front that reads…No mask on your face, you big disgrace, spreading your germs all over the place.

Some customer’s don’t adhere to this at all.

The barista (girl pouring coffee) is literally helping a customer without her mask on.

One of the managers/owners came from upstairs, walking all over the store without his mask. Ending up standing behind the biltong counter helping customers, without his mask.

The girl, also behind the biltong counter, busy with food, biltong, hanging new biltong up, NO MASK.

Another worker, pushing a trolley, walking from the back of the shop all the way to the biltong stand, no mask in sight.

One cashier, mask hitting her bottom lip.

My argument is this….how do you expect customers to adhere to the rules & basically the law, when you don’t even bother following it.

You deal with people from all over. This is how things are spread…….

Made a special stop after having heard so much about this place.
Bought product that turned out to be covered in mold.
Turns out the jams and preserves they are known for are not their products and can be found in most farmstalls . Very disappointed
Money badly spent

What use to be an excellent stop for oranges and juice has grown into a must do experience. You can now get everything from fruits, coffee, biltong, rusks, meat, pies, sweets and bottled goodies to merchandise and even hand crafted wood furniture. Super clean bathrooms.

this place has lost its charm and old experience. we used to always stop for the refreshing fresh oranges and 100% orange juice - sad that they now have imported oranges and the Juice is now a Blend of Juices...
what happens when you become too commercial instead of keeping the old values of offering good wholesome Juice and Good Value
never again

I bought 2 bags of oranges at Joubert’s farm stall in Schoemanskloof. If you pay R40 a bag then you expect quality, right? Not so at Joubert’s, I had to throw away 7 bad oranges. It seems Joubert exports the good quality and dumps the bad stuff on the locals. Very disappointed.

On a positive note their squeezed orange juice is great. But I won’t buy oranges again soon, sorry.

We came home via Schoemanskloof on Sunday the 6th January and stopped at Joubert en Seuns Padstal to buy fruit and nuts. We bought litchis, papaws, avos, meat pies and fruit juices.
The juices, the meat pies and the nuts were quite ok and I can recommend it.
The fruit were absolutely disgusting. The avos were hard and not ready when we tried it a day or two after our return. But within a few days it went from stone hard t0 black unsuitable to eat. All 8 avos were the same and we threw them in the dustbin.
The pawpaws behaved exactly the same. They were still stone hard the one day and the next day they were falling apart, totally rotten. Not even the birds in our bird feeder showed any interest in it.
The litchis were reasonable but definitely only half as tasty as the consignment a friend brought back from Salt Rock on the North coast.
I would recommend that they jack up their quality control during that time of the year.
