Family break away , our group of 8 stayed at the Rhino House…. We were so lucky to have had the most amazing sightings … also a pack of Hyena and wild dogs in addition to the big 5, super special. Did a self drove as well as the sunset and sunrise guided drive.
The house itself can do with better overall maintenance , beautiful house but requires some consistent TLC.
I wish mask wearing was enforced on the drives considering they were filling to capacity and not adhering to distancing protocols. We did have a run I’m with reception bookings manager and had to forego one drive and insisted on a 10 seater for our group. It was escalated to Johan who was gracious and understanding and got us a guide last minute.
Overall quiet a special experience for us all. In the spirit of the supporting the SA economy at this time … money well spent.

I like to enter this gate. You can drive the all day and leave the kruger at the crocodille bridge the other side. Start berg en dal en then take Some of roads direction pretoriuskop to Skukuza and then to crocodille bridge or take other directions. I want and Will come back for sure

Would suggest during busy times to pre book for the park. They have a day visitors quota. Our 1st day we had no problems, second day park was full. The park is very lush full of water and the animals are in peak condition

Visited Kruger three days in a row and entered via this gate each time via a tour. Did night tour as well with a ranger. Saw tons of great animals, easy to get around and entry at gate was quick each time

There is no better place the a few days in the Kruger park . From the Malelane gate we saw 4 of the big 5 and wild dog 🐕. Just spending time driving around is the most relaxing time out

This should be a relatively simple process (even with COVID), yet it is not! On two out of three days, their computer system was down and the staff are rude and unprofessional. Plan at least half an hour to get into the park and if you are a day visitor, no alcohol is allowed.

We went two days to Kruger. The first one we hired a guide and the second one we did self-drive. With a guide, he or she will drive to where the animals are and you are sure to see as many animals as possible. When you are alone, you can stay as many hours as you want!!!

We booked a sunset drive for 4 of us, this worked out the best thing I did on our holiday as we saw 4 of the big 5, lots of animal and bird life including Falcons and a pride of lions with a giraffe kill. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and included the whole party in all conversation

Easy entry through the gate with our Wild Card Pass. Helpful staff and very friendly. Gave us ideas of where to visit in the park.
