AN ABSOLUTE JEWEL !

Stunning and breathtaking ! In my humble opinion the lush, amazing views and scenery far surpasses that of the Grand Canyon. The vista from God's Window is absolutely spectacular !

This is the third deepest gorge in the world. The views change at every turn and the sight of the river way below is enchanting.

The excellent views are worth stopping at every viewsite for. Enjoy a pleasant meal in a restaurant with great views inside Forever Resorts Blyde River. Then drive down the road into the canyon as far as the road goes. A steep walk leads from there.

What a wonderful place ! We've spent one night in the region on the way back from Kruger park and is totally worth a visit. Fantastic experience and you can see the canyon from many parts of the roads with some spots to stop and take pictures and appreciate the canyon. Reserve a day if you really want to enjoy... More

I visited as part of a tour, stopping at a few view points and all were incredible. I wish it was possible for photos to capture the scale of what you see!

This stop over was part of the tour along the scenic route. When we reached the top and got out of the bus, the view was breathtaking. We stopped for lunch at the restaurant there, which was reasonably priced, good service and better than average food. You could easily just sit at the top on a rock and contemplate life.... More
