This is an area with very scenic views. It was part of a tour and worth the 30 minutes I spent here.

Visit this site near sunset. The Roundavels are rock formation that look vaguely similar to round, thatch African dwellings. The play of light and shadow across the Roundavels is an impressive display of nature at its most beatuiful.

This place was so amazing we went twice in the same day! First time was in the morning when the Three Roundavels were in the shadows but they still looked amazing. We then decided to go back late afternoon and then they were truly amazing!...More

special atmosphere during sunset with rondavels becoming red. 5 minutes walk to have the view on the river and the end of the canyon. Very nice!

Another lovely view across the canyon - one can see for miles. Well worth a visit and the entrance fee.

Seeing something the earth produced is always breathtaking. But this... all I can say is if you're in the area or not make a plan to see it, you will be in awe of the beauty!

Easy to reach along the Panorama route in Mpumalanga. Beautiful scenes from various points along the Escarpment. Parking is crowded. Thugs had taken over the toilet area and were locking the toilets requiring a payment to open them up. Use the toilet before you arrive...More

Grand Canyon is huge, Fish River Canyon is long and ancient but the view of three Rondavels of the Blyde River Canyon is prettier. The mountains and the river beneath are lovely emerald green, deep blue and different shades of several colours. Just fantastic. Unforgettable.

When you arrive at the Blyde River Canyon and you look across at the three Rondawels, you cannot help but wonder at the wonder of creation! Really beautiful. The three beauties stand out.

People talk about God's Window and some of the other viewing spots around the Panorama route - but this is the best. There is no better view down Blyde River Canyon and you will get plenty of epic Instagram-worthy pictures!
