High up in the canyon between blooming aloe flowers and fantastically coloured nectar gathering sunbirds is this viewpoint. Luckily the window was 'open' the day we were there (that means there is no mist) and we saw this marvellous view. Well worth the journey.

Great stop on the Panorama route. There are stalls at the parking, for souvenirs. Its a short walk up to the main look out point, about 20 minutes, and not a very strenuous 1 either. But make sure to check out the other view points...More

View? You mean there is actually a view? It was a bright sunny day with scattered cloud in Hazyview – and blazing sun at Bourke’s etc – but God’s Window was cloaked in cloud. He had shut the blinds. We paid the entrance fee &...More

Doubtless the view is amazing and probably even better on a less hazy day. But for me it is not as spectacular as the Three Roundavels or Bourkes Luck Potholes. I'd would also strongly recommend continuing up the path to the rain forest and to...More

This is a famous tourist site and it has been reviewed on umpteen occasions. Suffice to say, it does afford one a lovely view down to the lowveld and there is another lovely view if one takes the paved pathway up to another viewing point.

An amazing view over the Blyde River Canyon. It is better to go there on the clear day, so you can see Kruger Park and Lebombo mountains.

Also on the R538, just down from Wonderview. You will feel like you are high up in the clouds, as you look out across the beautiful rolling green hills below you in the Low Veld. The area is currently being upgraded, so expected a little...More

I remember going there as a child.... No sellers and no entrance fee, and the place was well maintained... (Paved paradise and put up a parking lot ?)
What is the distance and on average, how long is the walk from the parking to the first view point? What is the distance and duration of the hike to go further from the first viewpoint to the second viewpoint?

Hi. The first view point is virtually on the same level as the car park area, and 50x metres - 60x metres away. The furthest lookout is around 15x minute - 20x minutes walk, through the small rain forest and is mostly... More
