At the cost (USD2), you really can't expect too much. While I was impressed with their collection of birds and reptiles, the facility is not a zoological garden, but a collection of animals. I visited when I had a half day to kill in Polokwane and probably wouldn't visit again, though I did enjoy the visit and the staff was... More

My colleagues and I went to that place to have a nice time for December closing party. We took food with us and grilled chicken and meat we ate together. We viewed snakes and birds together. The snake display was also done by the workers of the snake park. We stayed there for about three hours.

Perfect place to picnic with family, our 2nd visit as family, surrounded by all kinds of birds in their well fenced shelters, in different colours, species & size. With reptiles enclosed safely for those who wish to view them...Braai facilities available...plus a convenient store. The coolest experience ever!...the 1st time we visited the place, when the weather was about to... More

A small privately owned park which has obviously seen better days. Snakes from harmless to poisonous seen in various glass fronted cages. Open enclosures with various lizards and a crocodile or two. Aviaries containing mostly exotic birds.

There is a good variety of birds and reptiles. I was very disappointed by the state of the facilities, though. Dirty, dusty and in need of maintenance, one can only feel sorry for the caged animals.

Had a fun weekend watching all the birds and having a few talk back to us. Was great to get a bit outside town and feel like you are in a Rio movie. Its a must see and you can also buy a bunch of birds there as well!

Great way to spend time with the family. Me and the wife could braai under the lapa and keep an eye on the kids while they roam between the animal enclosures. Not many animals to see, but the snake exhibition is interesting. But still great fun, specially for couples with young kids.
