Well I left 5 shoppers there . Told them to take their time. Forty five minutes later I had to give them a 5 minute warning . It was hard to get them out of the shop, there were so many interesting items to choice from.

A wide range of curated artisan goods from across KwaZulu-Natal. The show room has many pieces to choose from and also it is possible to custom order pieces via the Centre.

The day I went, I got to see some ladies actually doing bead work there. They have lots of paintings, wood crafts, bead crafts etc. The items are actually hand made by African artists, not factory made, which I appreciate. I bought a couple of small things that were in my budget. If I had the money, there are several... More

What a great place to browse and observe local crafts women creating amazing works of art, from beading to sculpting. A great place to not only browse but to also purchase a piece of art or craft which focuses on KwaZulu-Natal tradition.

Visited at the recommendation of our hotel. Drove around a bit to find somewhere to park. Was impressed by the pottery and the jewellery, buying several pieces of beaded jewellery and a small woven pot. During our visit however, not one person spoke to us despite there being at least three people working there. Would have liked a bit more... More

Nice collection of crafts. Didn't have time for a grand tour of galleries or markets. They have a wide selection of telephone wire crafts, baskets, ceramics and other items--big and small, mostly under $100US, with some as little as US$4-5. You can see fairly typical as well as things that aren't so common.

We didn't have a lot of time for shopping on our trip, but we are glad we went here. Its not huge, but the pieces on display are lovely, of high quality and prices very reasonable. Watched a group of people doing wirework and bought a lovely piece - looking at it on the dresser as I write. No pressure... More

a must stop place for both local and foreign tourists with beautiful pieces either to wear or to display in your home. Beaded animals; carved works with a unique touch; paintings, etchings, fabric. You will definitely find something you love whether as a gift for yourself or others
