Did the Zulu cultural experience and dancing here. Offers great views of 1000 hills from the top. Has a snakes and crocodile reserve next to it as well which is interesting. The Zulu cultural experience is well conducted with English translation and explanation of the same. A visit to their huts is a window to past for many...

This place is great for a Zulu experience. The Zulu dance and singing was a highlight. The performers were plagued by spiky caterpillars (I think they were). All over their dirt floor. They were constantly aware of and avoiding them. So under the circumstances. A great job. The reptile park was ok. Lots of non African species. Not sure why.... More

If you want a little inside taste of the Great Zulu nation, you have to visit here! There is a dance and then a mini tour of how the zulus used to live and some of their cultural standards. There is a little crocodile farm next door which is awesome to just go and check out! ENJOY, you won't regret... More

Visited Phezulu safari park and it was wonderful. Went to the crocodile and snake park and where lucky to see the feeding of the crocodiles. Afterwards we were given a talk on snakes and did actually touch them. The head reptile keeper (sorry can't remember name :-( ) gave us a great insight into snakes. "Thank you" to him. Afterwards... Without a doubt one of the most inspirational places I have ever visited. The emotional aspect of the Zulu culture pulled the heartstrings. The animals were up close and the safari drive must not be missed. A real have to go if visiting KZN.

We spent half a day here. The fake Zulu thing is disappointing with dancing, dress up etc all very ordinary and unspectacular except you do get to taste some pretty revolting home made local beer. The small private game park was good because we got up close to animals including antelope, wildebeest, zebras and a fantastic close encounter with a... More

I travelled to RSA a couple of times for work and went here twice. It is a little condensed and rushed but you get to see a cultural show as well as some wildlife. So for a short drive and modest cost you actually get a fantastic experience. As with all these type of places you can see the modern... More

This was a great cultural experience of the Zulu culture. The dancing, cultural stories and the Zulu beer tasting was awesome. Loved the view over the Valley of the Thousand Hills. Nice gift shop. We enjoyed the Croc and snake park. Lovey lunch at the restaurant although there were some items on the menu, which they did not have. I... More
