We didn't spend too long in the museum however I did explore the exhibition, war history and the vintage toy collection. It seemed a bit disconnected and as if it was only there because it had to be there not because it should be there....More

This museum is very interesting and informative on the history of apartheid. It opened my eyes to many things I didn't understand.

Others have correctly summarized the experiences to see on the two floors of this free museum. The building itself is as interesting as the exhibits. However, I was struck by the sign that explained that it was in this Courthouse that Gandhi was tossed out...More

A small museum set in the original old court house. The displays are very disjointed and try to cover too much in very little detail or sequence. It would be good to see this space used to show the development of Durban from its inception,...More

We visited as part of a walking tour and found it fascinating. A large amount of historical information and warrants allowing enough time to appreciate it. Free entry so perfect for travelling on a budget.
