Amazing views from 1000 Hills and a great little restaurant to pleasurably eat you Bunny chow and gaze into the distance. The area its self has a lot to offer in the form of its zoo and educational animals shows and crocodiles galore.

Although I enjoyed the scenery,I think the Zulu dancers ought to dance a bit more often and eat less, fat as pigs mostly

Dusted down the Harley and took a leisurely drive here from Durban - the start through Hillcrest is now busier than I remember - the views from the vantage points further on are are still stunning especially now as there has been a lot of...More

Badly signposted from Durban end, no where to have a leak or get a drink, oh or any fuel, though route marginally more exciting than 'The Garden Route'!

Yes the views and the drive to Zululand were beautiful. The show, however, was corny and staged and only remotely entertaining. The performers all acted like they wished they were somewhere else. Scones were ok. The reptile exhibit was really the most interesting of all,...More

We took this trip upon recommendation of our Concierge. However, it lacked activities. food availability was poor. It is a beautiful place however, as a whole day trip I think its boring. Please ensure you pack a picnic basket with you.

Drove through the Valley of 1000 Hills and it is just spectacular scenery. We went to Zululand for a "show" which was interesting on a cultural level, but quite honestly, a little "showy" and some of the dancers were obviously not 100% into what they...More
