A wide selection of art, some audio which was not working/switched on. Some exhibits by an artist who was clearly using black, female, sexual domination as a theme which I felt unsuitable for a family outing. The staff were unhelpful.

Durban Art Gallery is the popular place for art and history lovers, you find any art work starting from painted pictures to sculptures, you also see all sorts of wild animals starting from game animals to the big five up to the dinosaur. The place is good for schools educational tours.

I would like to see more of the permanent collection in stread of only Photographs. The Museum has a great permanent collection, which hardly ever sees the light of day.

City centre gallery, a little frayed at the edges, but gems, like portrait of TS Eliot to be found. City needs to spend more on keeping its historic collection on display.
