Pavillion Mall is a clean, safe and modern shopping facility just off South Africa's N3 highway. Everything the traveler might need from souveniers to banking services are available. I particularly enjoyed the book stores and the people watching.

Most of the stores close early. The food court is terrible: small and they're often not cleaned. The price for parking is insane: r30 for three hours. There are many beggars that hang around the parking and even more as you drive out.

We went to get our hiking gears at Cape Union Mart. The staff named Ellas is very helpful. However there is limited choice for us. Also we stopped by at the sportsman warehouse to get our running gears.

This mall is very central to most part of the city. There is sufficient parking. This mall is well designed as it is compact yet has all the major brands. A worth while visit
