Durban city centre is not safe for tourists.If you value your life don't go!i did not like being in the city even though we had a guide.The statues were lovely in farewell square,very colonial.we were warned not to go alone,as it is unsafe.

Cool place to check out if your passing. Nice beach with sand sculptures and plenty going on from people skateboarding to runners and roller bladers. cool restaurants and nice vibe about the place
