I WAS THERE IN JUNE 2016 WHEN THE AUCTIONEERS SOLD HISTORY TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER. All the memories, all the efforts of everyone that wanted to keep the history alive; everything about the museum has now passed with time. I wish Trip Advisor would update attractions that have closed to the public off the list of things to do. This... More

We stopped to see this as my father was stationed here in the War. The website does not mention it but the museum is closed and no longer in existence. There is no sign on the door or any info, I did find an article on line about it. Most of the displays have been sold or returned.

We had the privilege of visiting here on Veterans' Day 2015. We spent about 2+ hours at the museum and was given a personal, one-on-one tour by a veteran. There were photos of Charles Bronson, The Three Stooges, Marilyn Monroe, etc. showing those folks working or entertaining in this area of Kingman, Arizona at the military base. There were antique... During my June 2016 they had already closed, returned the exhibits that had been loaned to them, and then held an auction of the remaining museum's contents. Facility was in an old - leaky wooden aircraft hanger and was being manned by volunteers. Unfortunate that they couldn't have moved the museum down closer to the other two fine historical museums... This museum was permanently closed in June 2016. The personal items were returned and the remainder auctioned off. Sorry to see this piece of history gone.

We visited here the last time my nephew was in town and we were all impressed at the large display and interesting facts.

This is an old wooden hanger from WWII and is privately owned, and houses a lot of information from the area as well as a few planes and old vehicles. There is no public funding from the government and they cannot expand the collection of airplanes due to the wooden nature of the building and potential fire hazards. There are... More

Took a little bit of trouble to find, but once located at the Kingman airport it was well worth the effort. We were greeted by a retired airforce pilot with over 26000 hrs flying time. He took us through the museum and explained the exhibits as we walked through. Happy to answer our questions and made the tour so personable.... More

This Museum is off the beaten track, but well worth the trip. The guides in the Museum are very helpful and informative. My husband and I learned how the gunners were trained. Many items from WWII on display. Admission is a donation per person.
