This was a nice side trip that felt like my high school days. Museum was a pleasant surprise as I expected it to be more touristy. Staff was interesting to talk to and encouraged discussion during the visit.

This is a nice RT 66 museum that shows quite a lot of the history around Kingman, not only RT 66. There is an entrance fee, 4 dollars. Worth a visit if you have the time when you are in Kingman

Small, cute museum with a great display of Route 66 memorabilia, including a Studebaker. There were representations of a life sized and authentic covered wagon and an electric car museum on the bottom floor.

My wife and I were pretty disappointed in the museum as it was basically a room with some junk, a wagon, and a Studebaker. The electric car museum was also a 2 minute walk through with only a golf cart previously owned by Willie Nelson...More

My man and I went through this museum and learned lots of information on the making and history of Route 66. The building is large and open with lots of memorabilia from the area.

This museum has a lot of memorabilia and information on Route 66. It is really impressive with their exhibits and such. Definitely a place to stop on your Route 66 tour. Eat at Mr. D'z diner across the street while you are here.

It depends on several choices. You can watch a video, read about various founding members of the community, etc. I think 1 1/2 - 2 hours; 3 max.
