The guide was awesome, the park itself not the biggest and certainly not a “wild” experience. But a great way to see a lot of animals inna short space of time. Was fabulous to spend time up close with the elephants. Very enjoyable tour.

We had one night at Glen Afric after being avid Wild at Heart watchers and visiting from Australia. On arrival the reception was helpful and friendly and it is actually Mara Lodge from the series. The gardens are wonderful and the pool idyllic! We stayed...More

For a quick jaunt up from Joberg this is great. It does not compare to going up to Kruger but we enjoyed it. We stayed in a cottage by the lake which was a fantastic setting. Some Animals are caged but they have all been...More

My friends and hosts treated me to an hour and a half's game drive during which we could get out of the vehicle and interact at close quarters with the elephants. Truly something very special to experience! Then we continued through the reserve, being given...More

This was one of the best experiences I've had. Getting to know the elephants in their own environment and interacting with them was seriously amazing. The guide is truely passionate about these animals and was able to answer all our questions about them

Stayed for a friends wedding. Wonderful location. Beautiful lodge, comfortable stables. I stayed in a 'tent' in the 'bush'. Tents have a balcony and full bathroom. Fabulous accommodation. Nearly had a heart attack on the first night when a Kudu wandered past the window in...More

Yes, they filmed wild at heart in a cabin in the grounds set away from the main lodge. You can see it when you do the game drive. The rangers will tell you about it when you pass it. There is also another film set on site... More
