If you have an interest in history and science this is a place to go. It is situated in Pretoria CBD opposite the city hall. You really get a feel of history when you park and walk in. The museum's layout is well thought out....More

We took out daughter on an outing.. And the museum really was not what we expected. It was a beautiful old building. Interesting exhibitions and very well maintained. We just loved it!!

This museum is old and hasn't changed much in the last 20 years but given that, there are still a lot of things to see and is a great way to spend some time for kids away from the TV and actually learning something.

Interesting exhibition, need to be updated. Enjoyable quick family outing with small children. The fair is reasonable. Unfortunately the discovery center is not open over weekends.

It takes around three hours to experience the interesting museum. It is close to the station. Geology, zoology, anthropology are all involved.

Tired, old and dusty. Museums should be interactive and engaging. I felt this museum was none of that, its had its day, it lacks modernization and helpfulness. Toilets are not in the best condition. Restaurant is poorly stocked and run. Choose another museum...

The bird and geological sections were extensive and interesting however, the rest of the museum is very outdated and not maintained. The interactive stations are very old and the general atmosphere in the museum is unwelcoming.
