There is a great number of publications. The entrance is a little bit complicated because of all the bureaucracy around (fill in this for and this form...) but the staff is helpful and this is a great source of not only South African history, society etc. There is the National Archive and the National Film, VIdeo and Sound Archive nearby.

Kudos to CEO Mr John Tsebe and his dynamic deputy Ms Rachel More for all the hard work promoting the importance of reading and education. I Another friendly face in the institution is Susanne van Reusenberg.
