We had a resident give us a tour. He was proud of the work being done there, and it was extremely poor, yet fairly clean. People were very friendly.

I stayed at this hotel in October and took the hop on hop off bus city tour with Soweto extension. The hotel will take you to the nearest stop at Constitution Hill if you ask. The staff are very helpful. I don't know about... More

I would not recommend to visit Soweto. Is a shame to show this to tourists . Just go to your city and look for the poor people quarters. Go to the museum to visit the discovery of the Homo Naledi. Very interesting for kids... More
