The Bunny Park in Benoni is a landmark in Gauteng. The great thing about it is that admission is free so the whole family can come in for the price of a bunch of carrots. The bunnies run free, one has to watch where one...More

I visited the Bunny Park in June 2014. There is a pond of sorts with geese and other birds and there is a playground with rides for the children. The park is basically an expanse of very hard dusty soil, weeds, virtually no grass and...More

Really sad how these bunnies are neglected. The park is extremely dirty, the water in the ponds is disgusting and stinks. People leave their litter, plastic, polystyrene and paper waste everywhere.

The place looks terrible. I will never go there again. There's not enough food for all the animals. I had to ask farmers to bring the animals some food.

We went there yesterday with my son, age 6. He enjoyed it so much. It was nice and relaxing. There are braai spots and the park was suprisingly busy after all the negative reviews I read. We bought a pack of carrots and fed the...More

It's one of the saddest places I've visited, one wants to take all those poor animals home with you. They are being mistreated and neglected. Not worth visiting at all, hopefully this tragedy is close for good soon.

Visited the bunny park today, it was very ghost town like on the staff front, possibly as it was a bank holiday however this didn't put us off, we walked to the toilets which were locked (about 1015) so we had a wander around, not...More

This is a wonderful idea and a great outing, but needs urgent attention. Rather charge a admission fee (even if it's R5 per person) and upgrade and care for your facilities. The kiddy enjoyed himself thoroughly, feeding the various fluffy critters and farm animals. Ample...More

The Bunny Park is a cheap and worthwhile family day out. A full petting farm with many of the animals as well as eats and playgrounds make this spot a great picnic area too. However of late things have been left to go to ruin....More

According to.website it is permanently closed. Sadly this is due to neglect of rabbits and not being fed the correct food. They are donating the bunnies sadly to the Zoo as a food source.:(
