The zoo was awesome - lovely day out with the family. Everything looks up to date and the historical titbits are wonderful. Very clean as well.

I was pleasantly surprised when I visited the Johannesburg Zoo. It is a place for the whole family. I even saw birthday parties being hosted their. What a great idea for kids. I was there in July 2018 and weather was absolutely beautiful.

The Lion enclosure is beautiful. They even have an event centre which can be booked for special occasions. Great to go in October when the Jacarandas are blooming.

I’m from America...the quality of this zoo beats the ones that I’ve been to back at home. The entrance photos you take caught me off guard, but I’m so happy they give you the option!! I bought the package and donated to the Rhinos. I...More

Hi Ruth Just called to find out for you - there do NOT have the golf cart tours available anymore but do have wheelchairs for hire (R100 per day). Hope this helps.

No, not possible. To interact with baby lions you should go to Lion Park.
