Johannesburg Botanical Gardens gives you the options to walk in a nice, quite and secure surrounding. Its a good option to leave the hustle and bustle of Joburg behind you.

Lovely to pack a picnic and have a brunch in the gardens. It is a stunning place to relax , take a short walk in the "woods" and just chill. An ideal place for a family outing.

Great place to walk and feel like you are out in the countryside. Dogs not on leashes and cyclists can be a problem on weekends.

You have to contact the park management to make arrangements for an event there as you will not be allowed without prior arrangement.
