This is a really interesting cemetery . The tombstones are very unusual and its nice to see all the people resting here. Unfortunately I would not suggest going here on your own as there are many petty thieves lurking around

The cemetery was an interesting place to visit. It was very dirty and neglected. Many of the graves have been vandalized. We spotted some very old graves but the most interesting was of Victoria Cross winner Sgt James Craig. Don’t go alone as there are homeless people sleeping in the cemetery.

I have a thing for exploring historic cemeteries and St Mary's is probably one of the best historic grave yards in the city. Graves date back to the 1820 Settlers and there are a couple of interesting graves and stories to discover.
