Exciting boat cruise in to Algoa Bay with Raggy Charters. We could see lots of wonderful dolphins that swam and fished around our boat and many African penguins. Intimate experience with a few people, away from the bustle, surrounded by nature.

I have been on Raggy Charters tours in Algoa Bay on a number of occassions and always come back with awesome memories. We have normally had great sightings of sea life ,including Dolphins , Southern Right whales and the last time we were out there we saw 4 Humpback Whales which came very close to the boat on their way back... We had an awesome time and were lucky enough to see a few whales. Would definitely recommend this trip to tourists and locals! The guides are helpful, friendly, and full of knowledge and interesting facts about the animals. Absolutely loved it.

We spent a wonderful 3 hours out in Algoa Bay whale watching (we saw 2 Bryde's Whales!) and viewing the African penguins, cormorants, oystercatchers and a lone seal on St Croix Island. The owner and guide of Raggy Charters, Lloyd, took good care of us. Lloyd has 25 years of marine conservation experience and is very knowledgeable about the Bay... More

What a treat to be taken out by Loyd and see the marine wildlife we so easily forget about up close. Hundreds of dolphins, penguins and we were lucky to see a sperm whale with a young baby right next to the boat. Great way to escape the city and enjoy the open water with the incredible knowledge Loyd has... More

I was very lucky to have a relatively calm water boat trip, although the boat being a dual hull made the experience a very comfortable ride anyway. The trip itself was v well organized. Safety procedures were well explained and I felt the trip was v much tailored to the guests onboard's interests, not just your usual sightseeing boat trip..... More

Splendid trip at sea with dolphins, humpback whales, seals and the penguins island. Before going aboard, the owner Lloyd Edwards explained all the conservation projects that he has and that part of the trip cost goes to supporting conservation. It was really interesting to listen to. A must in South Africa as much as Kruger Park

I have been on a lot of whale watching trips but Raggy Charters was the best. To start with, even if we had seen nothing, I would have been impressed by Lloyd's knowledge of Aloga bay and his passion for conservation. He does not just run a business, he runs a business to make a difference in the world. They... More

Hey guys, thank you so much for your response. It is nice to know your interest in our conservation initiatives and hope it has got you thinking about yours as well. If we all just do our bit where we can it WILL make a difference. More

I have just got back from a tour with this group, and I can honestly say that it has been one of the best days observing wildlife I have ever experienced. Obviously it is animal dependant, but with whales, dolphins, penguins, seals and all kinds of other things to be seen you can't go worng. Add to this the fact... More
