Only given an average rating for Bayworld as a whole but the museum is great and well-worth a visit for all the family. Something for everyone to learn about. The aquarium is much smaller now but the glass cases give one a close-up view especially...More

The visit takes about 2-3 hours. They do animal interactions throughout the day and the animals are well cared for. Apart from the seals, penguins, snakes and other reptiles, the place also functions as a natural history museum, so educational for young and old.

in spite of what you can read, it still is a no-miss place - the exhibition side, although old is very interesting for all ages - try to get there for the snake interaction - the lady in charge is brilliant

I cannot believe the amount of things there are to do for an adult R45, kids R35 and you are there for nearly 2 hours, anywhere else in the world and that would have cost US$45 and there would not have been that much stuff...More

It was a interesting visit. Great to see the seals and penguins being fed and the staff were great. The museum was very interesting and the kids loved the dinosaurs. Pity the building is becoming very run down and in serious need of some TLC.
