We walked all the way around the peninsula and it was worth it. The views are outstanding and the beaches are beautiful. The walk is nice and varied, parts of it are rocky and other parts are sandy. Would go and do it again!

We walked the long circuit around the reserve, taking in the island, the beach head and the cliffs. The long trail isn't easy since some of it has fallen away so you have to clamber up rocks and steep surfaces but is well worth the...More

We did the biggest hiketour and it was amazing because you see a lot of different animals and besides the hike is not easy but that was what we want to do. It takes about 4h

This nature reserve is spectular and the scenery will blow your socks off. Lovely walks and hikes on the reserve and they have braai facilities should you wish to have a braai. Really a lovely spot to have sundowners.

Visited Robberg whilst visiting Plettenberg Bay. It is a peninsula just south of the town and you can do a 30 min, 2 hour or 4 hour walk. Great scenery with the waves crashing in and a spectacular 150 ft high sand dune to walk...More

We had a wonderful time walking here and looking out onto the ocean. We didn't do the entire walk as the weather was turning, but we did the walking trail to see the seals. It was worth it. For those not used to a little...More

Maybe we just came at a bad time but we had to wait half an hour to get in (thats how long it took to let 10 cars in!). Once we were in though its a beautiful easy but rewarding hike along the cliffs, we...More

The views and sights are something that must be experienced in person. Photos will not do this justice. Beautiful nature scenery. Access to certain places are physically demanding, but the shortest route still provides for spectacular views. Highly recommended.

We went to Robberg nature reserve twice in the 6 days that we were there. I was a bit nervous because of some of the reviews but the path is extremely well marked. We did the 5.5km which was great. Not too challenging and you...More

Hi, We are debating between the 9km and the 6km hike. Four of us are all pretty fit but not sure if scrambling is for all of us. What would we be missing if we only did the 6km route? Would we still see the marine life?

The Roberg hike is not difficult at all, you would make it. I met two kids that were below 10 years who were having fun time walking Roberg

Recommended that you don't start long walk after 14.00 but this would not be critical in summer, and at low tide. Long walk is estimated at 31/2 - 4 hours. But don't underestimate the walk - see recent comments.
