This was basically an overpriced junk yard. We were super excited to see a mine, come to find out there was only one cart. The rest was somebody's junk yard of things we didn't care to see. And the poor animals that were caged up...More

We were hoping for a cowboy/goldrush-style abandoned town. This town is obviously a tourist trap of 1920s-type mining town. They seem to have brought in old trucks and buses and stationed them around just to make it look better and so you'll hopefully get more...More

Cool collection of old equipment, cars and antiques. I would have like to hear more of the "stories" behind the things but otherwise interesting.

The photo is of Pedro! He has been at the mine for at least 27 years and will give you a kiss if you ask him nicely! We know this because we met him the last time we visited in 1990! We also met the...More

Great place to take the guys in your life... A dream come true for American pickers and history (junk loving) peeps. We had so much fun wondering around and taking pictures. We will be coming back really soon.

It was really cool to walk around and see all of the history. I loved the Ghost Town with all the old tools and cars and things. The animals were adorable and I couldn't get enough of the baby goats! The little shop has all...More

We walked around for about 10 minutes. I was hopeful we actually went into a mine but really this is just a bunch of old stuff.

This was an unplanned side trip and an interesting one to say the least. It's very rich in history, a lot of antique mine equipment, vintage trucks, and animals. I believe the local population is (2). The museum is a must see.

Basically paying $5 to walk around old beat up vintage automobiles and mining apparatus. Some of the stuff is cool, but it's a self guided "tour". Spend your money on a margarita in town instead.

I personally can't answer that. But you can call the souvenir store I believe and they can answer that question. You can go to the website for the info.

It's a very narrow road to get there with steep grades and hairpin-type turns.

I would be very careful if I took my pet. There are donkeys, chickens and other animals "free ranging" the area.
