Jerome has an interesting history. This museum really ties it all together, as it's such an unusual place one needs to view the museum to get the "real" story behind Jerome. Well worth the time. It's a reasonable entry fee, which makes it even better!

Lots of history, and lots to look at in the old mansion. My 3-yr old especially liked the train display upstairs, but could not sit through the video of Jerome's history. Happy we visited. $7 per adult and my child was free.

Spent an hour perusing the many photos and descriptions, and got a good overview of the town in a fast, enjoyable manner. The darken mine exhibit in the back corner added a bit of intrigue for the kids.

Behind the gift shop is this small museum yet it is a wealth of history of mining and knowledge of the story of Jerome's discovery. At $2 per person, it's well worth the time to discover this gem.

Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful of the area. Went into the video room and watched a short video of the history of the home which was now a museum. Saw lots of historic relics and learned about how the town once flourished in mining.

For only $2, you can walk through the history of Jerome, learning about its culture and its most memorable and colorful characters. Exhibits are comprised mainly of photos and typed narratives, with a few artifacts in cases here and there. Great for history buffs, but young children would be bored.

This is a fascinating place. Excellent video presentation of the history of the area and the city of Jerome, AZ. Lots of mining history including old equipment. Great view from the parking lot as the museum is on the side of the mountain. Well worth the time if in the area.

This museum, run by enthusiastic members of the Jerome Historical Society (which has bought and maintains several historic buildings in Jerome) is chock full of delightful and interesting artefacts and stories from Jerome's mining past. In my humble opinion it was better than the larger and 'posher' Douglas Mansion Museum (although I enjoyed that as well).

It had very little mining historical information. There was more information on jerome's history which was enjoyable. It only cost $2.00/person so the price was right.

All sorts of historical photos and artifacts from during the mining days of Jerome. The staff are very nice and helpful. A great place to purchase gifts.
