Grand Canyon Resort Corporation is owned by the Hualapai Indian Tribe and is located in Peach Springs, Arizona. In 1988, the Hualapai Indian Tribe, which has occupied the land since 1883, established GCRC, welcoming millions of visitors each year to tour the area, including the nearby lodge, ranch, River Runners and Grand Canyon West. To further increase tourism in the area, the Grand Canyon Skywalk was built in 2007. The Skywalk is a glass, horseshoe-shaped bridge that enables visitors to walk beyond the canyon walls at Grand Canyon West, suspending them 4,000 feet above the riverbed and providing an unparalleled view of this natural wonder.

Grand canyon West rim- Sky walk area

We went here because of the limited time we have and this is the closest from Las Vegas about 130 miles, a good 2 hours drive. Originally we planned to go to the South Rim side... read more

I was thrilled to see how beautiful the canyon is from the west rim. No railings at first was a little scary, but it makes the west rim seem as natural as god made it. Nice to see this in January. The crowds are low and the temperature is very comfortable. I see many people complaining about the price here...but... More

You have to take a bus to get to the rim. It's $42 each. If you want to do the sky walk too it's $65. We have seen the grand canyon before and decided to pass on spending $130. I'm not sure if tax was added to that our not. Wish we would of known this before we got there.... More

We went here because of the limited time we have and this is the closest from Las Vegas about 130 miles, a good 2 hours drive. Originally we planned to go to the South Rim side which is about a little over 4 hours drive from LV. It's expensive to go to the west rim side since it belongs to... More

There are a lot of mixed reviews on Grand Canyon West rim, but we decided to give it a go. We opted for the 3 stop deal, which included the Skywalk. Skywalk was OK only, but rest of the day was outstanding!! The Canyon itself is truly spectacular. It is what it is out there, a bit of a tourist... More

The views are a lifetime experience. Worth it! What a sense of awe. Wish there was more time there while on our bus tour.

We decided last minute to take a trip to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. It is on the Hulapai Indian Reservation. If you look at it as an opportunity to see spectacular views of the Grand Canyon, it is well worth the trip. We spent a wonderful 5 hours there. You take a bus to 3 different stops... More

We visited the Grand Canyon on the 23 Dec 2015. The scene was awesome, even though the ticket price is pricy, but it was worthed. Unfortunately our visit was hamper by the awful services of the shuttle. When the sun almost sets around 4.30pm we have been lining up at Guano point waiting for the shuttle, it was said that... the grand canyon is awesome , the indian tribe has cheapened it to treat visitors like a herd of cattle . the staff were rude to all the visitors , especially the ones from Asia. it is worth the trip to see once , but only for the spectacular views , not for the customer service

The west rim of the Grand Canyon is Awesome. The sky walk is one of the best things I have ever experienced. When you look down the Grand Canyon is 4000' below. The views are spectacular. I recommend this excursion from Las Vegas. From Las Vegas it takes 2 1/2 hours.
