Grand Canyon Resort Corporation is owned by the Hualapai Indian Tribe and is located in Peach Springs, Arizona. In 1988, the Hualapai Indian Tribe, which has occupied the land since 1883, established GCRC, welcoming millions of visitors each year to tour the area, including the nearby lodge, ranch, River Runners and Grand Canyon West. To further increase tourism in the area, the Grand Canyon Skywalk was built in 2007. The Skywalk is a glass, horseshoe-shaped bridge that enables visitors to walk beyond the canyon walls at Grand Canyon West, suspending them 4,000 feet above the riverbed and providing an unparalleled view of this natural wonder.

Good choice from Las Vegas

I drive from Las Vegas to be Grand Canyon west. It's take time around 3 hours. Eagle point is hi-light for me. Grand Canyon is amazing place in the world.

Tired from the previous day, got up late and had plans to hang out on the strip. Suddenly plan changed at about 12pm. Drove to Canyon 2-2.5 hrs drive from Vegas, got 2 tickets for $92.27. We parked the car, got the ticket and a bus took us to the Canyon which was about 3-4 min drive. Not as scenic... More

This is the second time in my life that I've seen the Grand Canyon. The first time we visited the South Rim and I really enjoyed it. It didn't cost much to get in and we could walk, hike, and take our time. Here at the west rim it costs a minimum of $50 per person to see and you... More

Do NOT waste $75 pp!! The Sky Walk is nothing like the pictures. If you want the true Grand Canyon experience, go to the South or North Rim. SERIOUSLY, a waste of $150 plus a 5 hr round trip from Vegas. Go to Oatman, AZ to feed the burros for $1 before you consider the West Rim

Tour bus; too long of a ride and day. Our own fault but things became clear as the day went on, very controlled but pleasant. Tip-go in your own car!

The Grand Canyon west rim is only 2 hours and 15 minutes drive from Las Vegas. Strongly recommended that nobody should miss this place while you are in United State. If you decided to go you might want to purchase the Gold Package which included the ticket for the Skywalk. It is absolutely worth to spend all your effort to... More

Strongly recommended that nobody should miss this place while you are in United State. It is absolutely worth to spend all your effort to witness the natural wonder. I visited Grand Canyon during my business trip in Los Angeles. I took a bus to Vegas and joined Grand Canyon tour which was started from Vegas. I would definitely go there... More

Our goal for our honeymoon was Grand Canyon West, complete with the Skywalk. While the trip was slightly more costly than I would have expected, the views and experience was worth it. The location, services by shuttle buses, has three stops: an old village, Eagle Point (where the Skywalk is), and another point. You must purchase bus tickets and have... More

Amazing place to visit. Just astounding and bathed in natural beauty. Great staff thought area. Perhaps more shelter required at the furthers point. Freezing conditions are hard to deal with when with young children and waiting for a shuttle. But AMAZING experience.

Strongly recommend that you NOT visit this place. The drive to Grand Canyon East is worth the extra time. Just after we paid the hefty entrance fee, my friend and I were told that the Hualapai Indian Tribe believe land cannot be owned or sold, as part of the tour. The hypocrisy is unbelievable, and the greed of the leadership... More

Suzannah: We just want to take a moment to acknowledge your review of Grand Canyon West and to offer an alternative point of view. But even before that, we want to apologize that you left Skywalk and the West Rim feeling let down. For nearly 10 years now, the Skywalk team and the Hualapai Tribe have done everything possible to... More
