For good reason you're not allowed to pick up a single piece of Petrified Rock at the National Park. However, right next door at DoBell ranch you can do just that and more. Here the land is privately owned and loaded with 300 Million year...More

What a fantastic place to visit. Not only do you get a sense of how vast this country is, but to see how the petrified wood was formed is awesome. The history that is Dobell Ranch, makes it an even better adventure. Collected many pieces...More

They were no here when I arrived and I called them. They got back from the dig just before I was leaving. Gave us a real good price on a large piece of petrified wood.

Noah, the owner/operator, was awesome! He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He spent a few hours showing us different pieces, explaining the process it has gone through and how he polishes them. You can't beat the prices of his petrified wood. Definitely a place to stop...More
