This is a cute little town with a wine tasting room, plenty of good restaurants & lots of fun shops. It's also very safe to walk anytime day or night.

you really cant compare the two by any means. Cottonwood basically has one long strip of stores,nothing that fascinating, lots of stores with rocks,boutiques nothing to go out of the way for.Sedona is beautifu,and has LOTS... More

there are two places to stay in old town- one behind the Tavern restaurant, a 2nd on main street closer to Bocce restaurant. the train along the river is a 2.5 mile drive from old town.
