We stayed in Old Town to attend Tilted Earth Festival. We were looking forward to staying at a central hotel were we could visit the AZ wine tasting rooms without having to drive. Several of the best AZ wine producers have tasting rooms in Old...More

We have been to Old Town Cottonwood a number of times - however, items in the little shops are expensive and "touristy". For such a small place, there is an abundance of eateries, and wine tasting. There appears to be a great "camaraderie" amongst the...More

Old Town was nothing special, but Larry's Antiques was the gem of Old Town. There were plenty of restaurants and stores, and is fine if you're already there, but don't make a special trip.

Typical tourist stuff, better to go over to Sedona for shopping. Also many stores were not open the first part of the week.

We shopped in about seven or eight different stores and stopped in at two wine tasting rooms during our visit. Most stores in this area have a focus on antiques or at least include some of them among their offerings. There is also an interesting...More

We stayed for a couple of hours and tasted at two wine tasting rooms. There were a number of lunch places. I suggest driving back to Sedona via Cornville as it is much nicer vistas.

We came up to this area to visit Jerome and Sedona, but were staying at dead horse ranch so thought we'd check it out. So glad we did! Great shops and restaurants and friendly people. We'll be back!

Stayed in Old Town...really lovely area with lots of winery tasting rooms. Went in February so the hours were limited but I'd love to return in the summer when the stores are open later.

For a small town Cottonwood has some excellent food establishments. We live in Sedona and drive over there a couple of times a week for lunch. The Tavern Grill is a real favorite. Not just 'bar food' with an interesting... More
