We had a relaxing day just window shopping and strolling this part of town. Ended up having lunch and purchasing a few items too. Parking is free if you check different lots. Public bathrooms near one end of town.

In the neighborhood of Jerome (which is a must see) this old town area is quite cute. Lots of shops and restaurants, but they tend to close early. Train stations the jumping off for the Verde Canyon Railroad which is a fun and scenic trip.

Neat historic town! Shops do close early...like 4pm. Restaurants open later. Wish we could have spent more town there since we were on our way to Sedona. Only 30 min to Sedona

I am glad I stop to see Cottonwood, would have been easy to bypass it. After all the hype of Sedona, it was refreshing to experience a true small town feel that still had plenty to offer a traveler.

Many wine tasting rooms with snacks to order, every resturant a great experience, antique/clothing/tourist shops. Walk down to the river walk but wear your walking shoes and bring water.

The shops are very interesting. A must to see is Larry Antiques shop at the end of Main St. And dont forget the wine tasting.
