We spent the morning in Tombstone and had reservations for 330 pm tour. Didn’t realize we needed closed toe shoes but no worries they had some rubber covers for our sandals. It was a very interesting and educational tour. Highly recommend it

We took this tour on our second day in Bisbee. It is very close to the Copper Queen hotel. In fact we walked to the mine. After signing up, you get a vest, hard hat and a lamp. You then go outside and sit on...More

We visited the Copper Queen Mine during our stay in Bisbee and were extremely impressed, not only with the tour itself, but with the tour guides who actually worked in the mine before it closed in the seventies. The hour spent on the train and...More

I recently visited Bisbee with my wife and adult daughter. The Copper Queen Mine was a fun activity and a great history lesson. Our tour guide worked in the same mine for nearly 20 years and you could still hear the passion in his voice....More

A retired mine worker gave our tour, so his stories were really interesting to hear more about the life of a Miner.

A very well organized and informative tour. It is very popular so try to make reservations in advance to avoid disappointment. Don't forget to take along an extra jacket, as it gets a bit cool in the mine.

We had a great tour of the old copper mine that shut down in 1969 or abouts. We were fitted out with a reflective light sleeveless jacket, donned our miner helmet and was handed a portable light to observe various aspects of a real mine....More

No need for old clothes or shoes, you don't get dirty. Bring a sweatshirt as it's cold in the mines. Make sure you have a reservation, too. Enjoy!

I wouldn't recommend this tour for anyone who is unsure on their feet. The floors are uneven, with loose stoned and rock. There are some steps to climb and descend. It would not be safe or comfortable
