If you go to Bisbee make sure you take the mine tour. Very interesting and well worth the fee. Our guide worked there during the time the mine was operational and he was a wealth of knowledge.

Toured the mine this past Saturday. It was a neat experience. The only complaint was our guide, who was very knowledgable, talked really fast and at times was hard to follow/understand what he was saying. Otherwise, all in all a very educational experience.

Interstaring exploration of the mine. More than another roadside attraction. The guides knew them mine better than most museum docents. They worked there! Great tour.

Guide was the best part of the trip. He worked from 1971 to 1975. Most of the information given,he personally experienced. $13 for an hour tour was money well spent.

The tour was excellent from the beginning to the end. The tour guides who are people who actually worked in the mine were informative, friendly and made the (old) jokes funny nonetheless. It was remarkable to see the conditions that the miners worked in and...More

An excellent experience for anyone remotely interested in the history of the area. Thought the price was very fair and the narrative very informative and interesting to actually get into the mine.

We enjoyed this informative tour and the different areas of the Mine. Was amazing to understand just a small bit of how difficult a miners job is. There is one set of stairs but they were short rungs so wasn’t different going up or down.

I wasn't sure whether to do a review under Copper Queen Mine or Copper Queen Mine Tour since I think they are the same thing. You should make reservations if it is a popular time. In the early 1900s, this was the most productive copper...More

My husband and I absolutely loved this tour. The guides are retired miners and are wonderful speakers that patiently answer all questions. The ride into the mine was fun and it was cool not cold so we were fine in shorts and t-shirts. The gift...More

No need for old clothes or shoes, you don't get dirty. Bring a sweatshirt as it's cold in the mines. Make sure you have a reservation, too. Enjoy!

I wouldn't recommend this tour for anyone who is unsure on their feet. The floors are uneven, with loose stoned and rock. There are some steps to climb and descend. It would not be safe or comfortable

we were there midweek, in april, and could make reservations for about 90 minutes later. all tours were full, so I'd say its best to make a booking, particularly if its high season.
