Great experience and affordably priced. Our group of 20 when through at the same time, fun fun! the tour guide was a retired Bisbee hard rock miner, who knew the real working of a mine. The blasting of hard rock is show in detail at one point, and explains how the explosives must be laid out to achieve the effect... More

We took the mine tour this morning and thought it was very interesting. We donned yellow slickers, hard hats, a belt, and a battery operated light, straddled a "train" and went deep into the mine, where we learned a lot about the workings of the mine and about the miners. Our guide was great and talked to us as if... More

My 3yo loved going into the mine on the mine train but I would warn parents of similar youngsters that you need to take into account the location of the talking parts of the tour by the ex-miner presenter. The first stop was in a cave where the single entry/ exit was down 2 flights of stairs. There isn’t anywhere... More

Went on the Queen Mine Tour reluctantly at the recommendation of friends and must say that we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was both an educational and entertaining experience highlighted by enthusiastic ex-miner guides, a ride deep in to the mine with several historically informative stops in to the inner workings of the mine from the 1800's onwards and an enlightenment... You get to go down into the mine and see what it would have been like. The temp is a cool 47 degrees. We enjoyed this very much.

This is an educational glimpse into Bisbee's mining past as you take a train ride into the cool underground tour at the Queen Mine. History and memories of the hard working miner can be seen and felt everywhere. The mine can be as cool as 45 degrees so bring a sweater and long pants. 'Be prepared to capture photos of... More

I live in Bisbee. When I first moved here I took the tour. Very, very informative and interesting Tours led by ex-miners. The tour is so good I have gone 3 times.

This was a great experience. The mine was cool- which was a bonus for a hot summer day, but the tour really captured the history of this mining community- education and & overall great experience. When visiting Bisbee- this is a must see.

Recently did the Queen Mine Tour in Bisbee. Doyle led us through the tour with help from Benny to keep us all safe. Doyle was very knowledgeable about the mine and it's operation and gave us a fun and informative tour. The mine is 57 degrees so cool, but not cold. They provice you with a rain slicker jacket and... My dad used to work Ina mine in Superior. So it was pretty cool to be able to see what he used to so every day for a living. Our tour guy was Sonny. He was very knowledgable ... He also used to work in the mines so he could answer every question that was asked on our tour! Crazy... More
