Stopped in Wrangell for the day on an Alaskan cruise. Spent the entire morning with Brooke and Alaska Waters. It was right up our alley -- learned so much about the Tlinket people, visited Petroglyph Beach and immersed ourselves in history which dates back to...More

We stayed at the park two nights on our visit to Wrangell. We had stayed at the city campground with no facilities for our first night in Wrangell and paid the same as at Alaska Waters! Not a fancy place but the service was fine....More

Alaska Waters made our visit to the Anan Bear Observatory an excellent outing. They even made arrangements for us to be picked up at Banana Point on Mitkof Island and transprorted to Wrangell to join the tour. Transportation back to Banana Point was also taken...More

Thank you for the kind words. We work hard to learn the biology of bears and the natural flora and fauna in SE Alaska. We put a lot of effort in training our guides. I'm pleased to hear that our team served you well!

I can see why the guides are so upbeat -- just being around AnAn is uplifting. The owner LOVES bears -- he relates to them from great childhood experiences. I feel so privileged to be able to spend the day there.

Alaska Waters provided boat service to and from the observatory, and a guide to provide direction and security while at the observatory. Everyone was friendly and professional; the service was excellent.

The Anan Bear Observatory is open to the public and fascinating enough on its own. Glen and Scott from Alaskan Waters elevated it to a nearly spiritual experience. Their background and knowledge put you right in with the bears so as to understand their behavior....More

We did both the AnAn creek bear tour and the glacier tour with this team and they did a great job on both trips. Very professional and safety conscious. The staff are well trained. Highly recommended to all ages.
