Golf cannot be complimented any better than with the natural beauty of Alaska as a backdrop to your round. We have 5 sets of tees to compliment any skill set. We offer premium rentals from Ping and Titelist along with standard rentals from Callaway. Our slogan is a result of the local knowledge of golf in Alaska, we are the home to "Alaska's Best Putting Greens" The Albatross Restaurant is nestled into our timberframed clubhouse and is home to the best 19th hole in the Matanuska Susitna Valley. With ample deck seating to take advantage of our spectacular views of Cook Inlet and the magnificent peaks of the Talkeetna and Chugach Mountain Ranges, The Albatross is well suited to compliment a relaxing evening on our manicured grounds. Our backyard games of corn hole, bocce ball, giant jinga, and croquet offer additional options to settle the score with your fellow companions. I enjoyed my 18 hole round at Settler's Bay. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The course is enjoyable with only a couple of really challenging holes. For Alaska the greens were in better shape than I expected. If you are in the Wasilla area this is the course to play.

Settler's Bay Golf Course is a beautiful, privately owned, public course about 8 miles west of Wasilla, Alaska. The 18-hole course features a well-manicured course with a driving range, putting and chipping practice areas, multiple tee options, and a nice 19th hole restaurant and bar. The newest addition is golf hover boards. Some training is needed to use them, however.... More

Fabulous weather and a great course. The course was a fair layout and it was in perfect condition. I would highly recommend Settlers Bay if you're in the Wasilla area.

The crew at Settlers has really put together a great time in the Valley. The course is well maintained, from the Tee, rough, fairways, and greens. I've played several times this summer, and never had a bad outing. The pro shop always works us in, even with late notice. If your golfing in the Valley, Settlers is a must! For... More

They worked us in without a tee time. The course was very busy, but we still finished in under 5 hours. Fairways were good, the rough is tough, and the greens are very good. The sand traps were more like kitty litter than baby powder. We opted for the "standard" rental clubs and they were fine.

We love playing this course. It's challenging and well taken care of. The people are friendly and the clubhouse (Albatross) is fantastic. Highly recommend as the area course to play.

This a well maintained course in a gorgeous area. Usually the first to open in the spring, and the last to close in the fall. With views of the Knik Arm as you tee off on hole 1. To the tall birches on hole 18. You'll enjoy well great greens, friendly staff, and a possibility of a moose too!

Great food, they do a good job on the calamari. Prices are a bit steep, but it is a golf course. Its just fancy enough, without making you feel out of place in jeans (This is Alaska after all) I like the high ceilings and feeling of space inside, while the booths are very cozy and intimate, so you can... This is a well maintained, fun to play course. They have various specials throughout the week and twilight fees that make it affordable - bring your bug spray!
